Days I Drink ("we", "us", "our") helps users track drinking habits, set goals, and review progress. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1) Information We Collect

  • Account data: email, account ID, username/display name.
  • Tracking data: daily logs, plans, notes, tags, goals, and profile preference fields you provide (e.g., age/sex/goal).
  • Photos: drink photos, profile photos, mascot images, and related metadata.
  • Derived data: AI-generated estimates (e.g., standard drinks, ABV, volume) and coach summaries.
  • Social data: friend relationships, activity feed items, reactions, and notifications.
  • Technical/session data: auth/session tokens and limited diagnostic logs.

2) How We Use Information

  • Provide core functionality (logging, planning, insights, social features).
  • Generate AI-assisted features such as drink estimation, mascot generation, and coaching summaries.
  • Improve reliability, safety, and product experience.
  • Send service messages and, where enabled, reminders/invites.

3) Sharing & Processors

We use service providers to operate the app, including:

  • Supabase (authentication, database, storage)
  • OpenAI APIs (image/AI features)
  • Resend (email invite delivery)

We do not sell personal data. We do not use third-party ad tracking SDKs in the current app build.

4) Social Visibility

If you use social features, approved friends may see shared activity (including photo previews/full photo when you share photo activities), your username/display name, and reactions.

5) Data Retention

We keep data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

6) Your Choices

  • You can update profile fields and many logs inside the app.
  • You can delete uploaded photo logs in-app.
  • You can request account deletion/support via the contact below.

7) Security

We use safeguards such as authenticated access controls and protected storage patterns. No method of transmission/storage is 100% secure.

8) Children

This service is not intended for children under the age required by your local laws.
